BS-CS Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 50% Marks with following combination in Intermediate.
- F. Sc Pre Engineering/Pre Medical with Additional Mathematics.
- ICS/General Science with following combinations
- Mathematics, Statistics, Physics
- Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics
- Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics
- Mathematics, Statistics, Economics
- Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics
- A Levels Certificate same combinations as above.
- Equivalence Certification from IBCC.
Cannot elligible
- DAE or other Diploma holders are not eligible for admission in BS(CS) program in GC University Lahore.
- I.Com/D.Com certified candidates are not eligible.
- Result Awaiting students who have appeared in 2017 can apply for Entry test.
- Please note that Online registration, Entry Test Slip and Entry Test result declaration does not mean that a candidates eligibility has been checked and he/she qualifies for admission.
- Eligibility will be determined by checking original documents, before admission. Admission shall be cancelled if a candidate submits wrong information, or shows fake documents.
BS-CS Merit Formula
Minimum 50% marks will be required in Intermediate Result.
Last Date of Admission = 19-07-2019 Friday
- Admission will be based upon following Merit Formula,
- Intermediate marks: 60% weightage
- Entry test : 40% weightage
- Previous Year Merit was approximately 69.72% in last merit list.
- Example: Candidate Intermediate Marks=670, and Entry Test Marks=40
- Simplified Aggregate Formula: (Intermediate Marks x 3/55) + (Entry Test Marks x 0.8)
- Simplified Formula: Candidate Aggregate= (670 x 3/55) + (40 x 0.8) = 68.545454545455
Documents Required for Registration
These documents are not to be submitted but should be ready.
- Your email and mobile number. (at least one contact is required).
- Your National ID card or Nadra B-Form. (Those candidates not having NIC or B-Form, must email to csadmissions.gcu.edu.pk for temporary Entry test Slip)
- Your father/guardian’s National ID Card.
- You Matriculation Result card (for correct name spelling and Date of Birth).
- Copy of your 2nd Year Roll number slip(2018) or Intermediiate Pass result card.
- One scanned copy of your Photo for uploading. (less than 5 Megabyte). File Formayt should be BMP, JPG, GIF, or PNG
- (Do not send these documents to any address. We do not need them now).
BS(CS) Morning Batch
- First Fee at the time of Admission (Admission + First Semester fees ) Rs. 74,000/-
- Semester Fee( for next 7 semesters): Rs. 53,000/- Per Semester
- Total Fee Payable in 4 years (8 semesters): Rs. 445,000/-
BS(CS) Evening Batch
- First Time Admission Fees (Admission + First Semester): Rs. 82,700/-
- Semester Fees (next 7 Semesters): Rs. 57,000/-
- Total Fee Payable in 4 years (8 semesters): Rs. 481,700/-
